Series C1R & C2R

The economical C-R series is a bolt-down cover plate with a flush mounted hinged access cover with 300 lb. psf (1464 kg. psm) load rating. Available with single and **double door access openings, this series is typically used on fiberglass wet wells & valve vaults. The C-R series can also be bolted to a concrete top slab in lieu of a conventional framed access cover that is cast in. Please see the drawing page for standard features. This unit should not be used if water intrusion is a determining factor. (See cast in slab channel framed units W-R, W-S & W-C).

Series R1R & R2R

The R-R series is a round angle frame access cover with 300 lb. psf (1464 kg. psm) load rating. This unit features a rolled angle frame with access of up to two-thirds of the basin diameter when the cover is in the open position. Single and **double door units are commonly used in locations where limited space for removal of equipment is present. Please see the drawing page for standard features. The unit can be cast into the slab or retro-fit into an existing round opening. Field dimensions are required for all retro-fit applications. This unit should not be used if water intrusion is a determining factor. (See cast in slab channel framed units W-R, W-S & W-C).
