Slam Lock - for Access Covers

The T-316 stainless steel slam lock provides a flush mounted locking system for access covers. The slam lock is mounted to the underside of the cover with T-316 stainless steel hardware and is supplied with a key and a threaded plug to prevent debris accumulating in the lock opening. The slam lock is the standard locking system on single and double door Series WS, SS, WC, HW, HC, and HR access covers.

Applications

The slam lock option should be specified when a flush mounted locking system is the desired means of securing an access cover.

Specifications

• The slam lock material is T-316 stainless steel.
• The slam lock is attached to the underside on the access cover
  with T-316 stainless steel hardware.
• The slam lock key is T-316 stainless steel 5/16” square bar.
• The standard slam lock plug is aluminum and is removed from the cover
  with the slam lock wrench supplied.
